Hong Kong Day 2

" Morning Hong Kong ! " as it was my first morning here
The most important thing of a day ofc is BREAKFAST, which I love the most
So Joy and I went to have our I would say Brunch actually

After having a wonderful meal, we felt absolutely energetic and excited
So here we are, heading to our first stop Victoria Harbor & Harbor City

The view was great, the weather was awesome and the mall was HUGE
Luckily, we came across a really cool exhibition Chocolate World Heritage
It displayed many world heritage sculpture which was all made of Chocolate
As I love it so much, I'm going to show you guys everything that I saw that day
Just in case you don't have the chance to see these delicate & Yummy masterpieces

Don't you find them kinda delicious ? Haha
After shopping in the mall for like hours we or might be just Joy was kinda tired
Haha I am always the excited and energetic one
So off we go to have some food and get some rest

This was our first guilty pleasure of the day
It actually tasted like chocolate cake combined with tiramisu
As we know that's ice cream but I gotta say I love Häagen-Dazs more

While searching for a real meal (I would say afternoon tea), for it was 3pm already
We found some really cute statues around the lobby
For those who are not familiar with Chinese culture, 2011 is the Rabbit year
So we can see lots of decoration which simply based on Rabbit

In the end, we've decided to eat NYF (New York Fries)
I know you guys might think that "Are you Crazy?"
"You go all the way to Hong Kong to eat fast food?"
Which is simply unhealthy and definitely not food you can only eat in HKG
"Aren't you supposed to go eat egg tart or sort of things like that?"
Haha, well egg tart is another unhappy experience, I will talk about it later
Here is the story why we chose to eat NYF
When we were first looking at the map of the mall to see what we can eat
I found a store called " New York Friend "
So I yelled that "Joy you gotta look, this is super funny! How come someone named the restaurant as New York Friend? Isn't it more appropriate for a clothes shop or sth else? "
Joy soon shook her head and said "Hahaha, It's NY Fries dear!!! "
LOL Yeah this is so me ! I am kinda silly most of the time
So we both laughed out loud and said "okay as we misunderstood, actually only me, it let's go eat there"
I was kinda thrilled and happy that we chose NYF
I fell for the little corner where it located as soon as we got there
And their fries was amazing (perhaps I was just too hungry)
What I loved the most was that they got so many different kinds of sauces
It tastes definitely way better than McDonald
Btw, the salad tastes really great as well

The most wonderful thing I saw while eating in NYF was catching this great view

Well one kinda interesting thing happened before we headed to NFY
When Joy and I were wondering which direction to go in the super huge shopping mall, there was a really tall and strong guy who walked to us with his friend and said "Hello!"
We, at first didn't really know that he was talking to me
But when he greeted for the second time, I knew that he was talking to me
I said "Hi !" back and he started to ask me that where did I buy my shoes ?
I was like what ??? Hahaha I said "You mean the Timberland? "
He nodded
So I answered really quick without thinking, "America" (That's the truth)
Well everyone started to laugh as my answer was quite silly ? I don't know
I said "Well I guess you can find this brand in this mall, but I'm not sure which floor"
So we helped him ask the info from the information desk
He kept chatting with us and didn't really seem to leave
I was like kinda hungry so I said well nice to meet you and hope you can find the shop
The tall man's friend said "You guys really speak fluent English!" before we left
Hahaha, this definitely blew my mind and made my day
Well we found that he was still peeking at us even though we've left
Joy said that his question about the shoes might just a pick-up line
Because the man in the info desk could speak fluent English
Well whatever he was interested in the shoes or any other stuff
That compliment about my English proficiency was just enough

In the afternoon, we headed to Granville Road to eat some local food
Shopping and shopping again, haha most girls never get tired of that
We had our dinner at almost 11pm

- Taking the late bus home while wondering that I might fall in love with the other side of this crowed city
